The war had been won. Some of the more exhausted fighters plopped straight down on the Parademons' corpses, paying no mind to the blood-soaked surroundings as they pulled out bread or roast meat and started eating.

Yang Bo felt a little wistful. Without the Anti-Life Equation and the Mother Box, Darkseid had been easy to kill, but the Parademons blanketing the landscape had been an exhausting chore.
If he had been alone, he might have hacked away until his mind went numb and still failed to wipe them all out.
Ever since Darkseid's death, the entire Parademon army had lost control and started slaughtering one another. Without that, they might have had to keep killing for a very, very long time.
