"Let's go. What are we waiting for?"
As he spoke, Yang Bo took out the controller he had snatched from B-15. It was standard equipment issued by the Time Variance Authority and could look up information on people in the Marvel Universe.
It could also open Portals.
He looked at the teleportation option on the screen and tapped it, bringing up a long list of preset destinations.
"Talk about idiot-proof... It doesn't even have a security system. So anyone who picks it up can use it?"
That suited him just fine, though. He wouldn't have to figure out how to crack it.
He tapped [Headquarters], and a rectangular Portal opened. Beside him, B-15 gave Yang Bo a conflicted look.
Watching Yang Bo swagger through the Portal, she told her team, "Bring this time variant."
Two soldiers picked up their Pruning Batons, grabbed Loki by the shoulders, and opened another Portal before stepping through.
The instant Yang Bo stepped through the Portal, a shrill alarm sounded. Squads of fully armed TVA soldiers carrying Pruning Batons converged on him from every direction.
B-15 had actually reported the situation to headquarters when Yang Bo resisted. That was why, upon entering the Time Variance Authority, he ran into the soldiers who had been preparing to go out and arrest him.
B-15 emerged from another Portal. Looking at Yang Bo, who stood in the lobby without the slightest sign of nervousness, she said:
"Don't resist now, or else..."
Before she could finish, Yang Bo raised a hand to stop her. He shook the Time Controller collar in his hand and said, "Hold on..."
"You're not still expecting me to put this thing around my neck, are you?"
"Heh. If you are, go ahead and attack. But I won't hold back this time."
