Ch. 381The Celestial, Tiamut!

Hermione used Planetary Devastation to expose the unborn Celestial Tiamut, then confronted the Eternals who arrived to stop her. She revealed that Tiamut’s Emergence would destroy Earth and warned the Eternals not to interfere.

  • Hermione halted Planetary Devastation when Ikaris and the other Eternals arrived, revealing Tiamut’s enormous fingertip beneath the ground.
  • Ajak recognized Hermione as the Witch and tried to question her, while Hermione told the Eternals to stay out of her way.
  • Ikaris attacked Hermione with his eye beams, but she remained unharmed and called him a Celestial’s plaything.
  • Hermione revealed that she had come to stop Tiamut’s Emergence from destroying Earth and threatened to kill any Eternal who interfered.
  • Hermione’s magic forced several Eternals back as she taunted them for not knowing their purpose.

Ch. 382Exposing the Truth

Hermione revealed that the Eternals had been created to protect Tiamut until his Emergence destroyed Earth, and Ajak confirmed the secret. The Eternals turned against Ikaris over his loyalty to the Celestials, while Hermione prepared to stop the Emergence and Ikaris blamed her for turning the others against him.

  • Sersi and the other Eternals demanded answers, and Ajak allowed Hermione to explain their true mission.
  • Hermione told the Eternals that Tiamut would hatch and consume Earth's life, and that they had repeatedly been reset and sent to guard other Celestial births.
  • Thena described troubling memories of a previous cycle, and Ajak confirmed that the Emergence and Tiamut were real.
  • Sersi and the others confronted Ikaris for accepting Earth's destruction, but he insisted that the Celestials' will came first.
  • Ajak asked Hermione to stop the Emergence despite the danger of Celestial retaliation, and Hermione said she could handle the consequences.
  • Ikaris accused Ajak of betraying the Celestials and blamed Hermione for turning the Eternals against him.

Ch. 383The Politically Correct Race

Hermione defeated Ikaris after he attacked her, then killed him to prevent him from reporting to the Celestials. The chapter ended with a little girl among the Eternals attacking Hermione with illusions.

  • Ikaris charged at Hermione, but she used Planetary Devastation to trap him in a massive stone sphere and smash him into the sea.
  • Ikaris emerged from the water badly injured, and the little girl rushed to his side and threatened Hermione.
  • Hermione restrained Ikaris and crushed his bones as Ajak and Sersi pleaded for his life.
  • Hermione explained that Ikaris had to die because he would report their actions to the Celestials, then crushed him to death.
  • The little girl conjured lifelike illusions and sent them rushing toward Hermione.

Ch. 384The Celestials' Secret

Hermione discovered that Tiamut absorbed souls like she did, leading her to suspect the Celestials cultivated intelligent life to harvest its soul energy. Unable to risk her original plan or let the Emergence happen, she attacked Tiamut directly, but her Killing Curse failed.

  • Hermione killed Sprite after killing Ikaris, then refused to attack the other Eternals because she needed their cooperation.
  • Hermione discovered that Ikaris's soul was being pulled toward Tiamut and used Dark Harvest to absorb it, but Sprite's soul reached Tiamut first and was absorbed.
  • Hermione concluded that the Celestials might cultivate life to harvest souls and feared they could detect any memory alterations exposing her.
  • Hermione decided she had no safe way to avoid the Celestials or stop the Emergence, so she fired a Killing Curse at Tiamut.
  • The Killing Curse left only a tiny crack on Tiamut's body and otherwise had no effect.

Ch. 385Advancing to level seven

Hermione used the Eternals and Dumpling’s Mind Stone to weaken Tiamut’s defenses, then killed the infant Celestial and advanced to level seven. After learning level eight required five hundred million soul energy, she killed Ajak and the other Eternals before they could discuss how to hide Tiamut’s death.

  • Hermione had the Eternals channel their energy through Druig while Dumpling amplified him with the Mind Stone, weakening Tiamut’s soul defenses.
  • Hermione used Hela’s underworld fire to weaken Tiamut’s soul, then killed him with Avada Kedavra and absorbed his soul energy.
  • Hermione spent the energy to reach level seven and discovered that advancing to level eight required five hundred million soul energy.
  • Ajak asked Hermione how they should prepare for the Celestials’ response, but Hermione struck her with Red Light.
  • Hermione’s Red Light ricocheted through the group, killing Ajak and all the other Eternals.
