Amid the vast, rolling mountains of the Beast Region lay a stretch of glaring, ghastly white terrain. Flowers, grasses, and trees were all shrouded in grayish-white mist, looking like countless corpses. Within the lush green mountains, it stood out starkly, exuding an eerie air.
This was the Skeleton Mountain Range. It covered such an immense area that even the Jia Ma Empire was much smaller by comparison.
Many peaks stood at the center of the ghastly white Skeleton Mountain Range, though most had been leveled. Numerous tents could still be seen atop them, with figures moving about.
The Ancient Ruins lay hidden deep in the center of the Skeleton Mountain Range. This was an excellent location, quite close to the ruins, so the major factions and powerful experts had claimed it.
These ruins had caused an enormous stir. Many factions from across the continent had already arrived, and apart from the Pill Tower and the Soul Palace, virtually every publicly known superpower in the Central Plains had come.

Inside a tent, a black-robed young man was cultivating. Powerful, surging Dou Qi and a vast aura swirled around him, while a wondrous purple-brown flame enveloped his entire body.

After a long while, the young man's aura began to withdraw. The flames dispersed, and his Dou Qi returned to his body. He exhaled a faint breath of white vapor, then opened his deep, dark eyes.

Seeing him awaken, the purple-robed woman asked with concern.
The young man nodded. "The strength I gained in the Star Domain has fully stabilized. I'll be even more confident going into the ruins now."
