Scott suddenly heard a puzzled sound from Arataki Itto beside him. He glanced toward Itto's backside and got a fright.
Countless black and red ants had appeared from who knew where beneath Itto. They swarmed over half his backside and were still crawling toward the rest of his body.
"Itto, get up!"
Scott hurriedly told Itto to stand, only to hear him let out a sudden shout.
"Ah!"
Crack, crack.
Out of the corner of his eye, Scott caught several sparks at the head of the dark swarm. Itto had barely stood up beside him when his body jolted, and he pitched headfirst toward the ground.
Luckily, Scott reacted quickly and caught him by his shirt. Otherwise, the unconscious Itto would have landed with a badly battered face.
"Itto! Itto!"
Scott called twice without getting a response. He looked gravely down at the ground, only to notice that the ants had moved into the open space directly in front of him.
[He has been electrocuted into unconsciousness.] [Now, put on the suit.]
The ants dragged a miniature version of the familiar "old motorcycle suit" into the clearing. With a whoosh, it expanded.
The "old motorcycle suit" returned to its original size.
What worried Scott most, however, was that the ants began changing formation on the ground.
They moved rapidly, forming one Arabic numeral after another.

It's a countdown! Scott had no time to think. He glanced at Itto, lowered him carefully to the ground, and put on the "motorcycle suit" as fast as he could.
