Inside Shouki no Kami, Wanderer's brow was furrowed with irritation. His gaze grew colder as he watched the Sovereign Spaceships swarm like locusts.
"All-Karma Wheel!"
Lightning descended, striking the ships' metal hulls like raging dragons with deafening thunder. Under the onslaught, the ships were battered like enormous rocks mercilessly pounded by ocean waves.
Explosion after explosion rang out as the Sovereign ships burst into fireworks in midair.
"Damn it!!"
The High Priestess clenched her fists in fury, her knuckles jutting out as though the blood were boiling in her fingertips. She gritted her teeth, the veins on her forehead throbbing as if they might burst.
The red control consoles all around her showed that barely any of the unmanned ships they had dispatched remained. The discovery sent the High Priestess into a rage.
"No! No!"
The High Priestess pounded the console, abandoning all dignity as she screamed, "Kill them!! All of you, kill him!!"
At the High Priestess's screams, everyone frantically pushed their control sticks.
Thanks to Itto's buddy Ushi leading the way, Star-Lord and the others had reached the entrance to the Crust Core. Rather than recklessly heading down, however, they chose to ambush the enemy from outside.
Restricted by the distance, Star-Lord and the others could only use their firearms to keep the enemy in check. Tighnari was largely unaffected, however. His attacks had a long range, and he almost never missed a target he aimed at.
