Cyno and Tighnari exchanged a glance, then turned back to Paimon with puzzled expressions.
Paimon thought for a moment, tilted her head, and asked, "But why do you call him Mark?"
"Well, as you know, my superiors sent me to London to help with a major exchange event. The Police Station assigned me temporary accommodation right across from Mark's... er, Mr. Steven's home."
"As for his name, that's how he introduced himself when we first met," Cyno explained patiently.
Recalling their first encounter, Cyno remembered that late night clearly.
When he returned to his accommodation after his shift, he happened to run into his neighbor, who was coming home at the same time.
The man had looked utterly worn down and deeply depressed, barely able to stay on his feet, as though he was on the verge of a breakdown.
