He stretched his neck curiously and gently sniffed her.
Ygritte went rigid, forgetting even to breathe.
Seemingly catching a familiar scent on Ygritte, he finally let his guard down.
"All right, stop that."
Lynn patted the largest head in the middle and murmured a few soothing words in Valyrian.
Winter immediately became utterly docile, settling obediently onto the ground like three big dogs eager to please their master.
That miraculous display won the Wildlings over completely.
