It was late at night when Winter swept over the Kingsroad.

Winter disturbed no one.

He landed soundlessly among the ruins on Rhaenys Hill.

The Dragonpit.

Once a place of glory for the Targaryen Dynasty, it was now nothing but shattered walls and rubble.

The vast dome had long since collapsed, exposing the pitch-black night sky, while grotesque dragonbone sculptures cast twisted shadows in the moonlight.

The moment Winter landed, dozens of silent figures emerged from the shadows.

Lynn's guards in King's Landing.

They had been waiting here for a long time.

They had even cleared a sufficiently spacious area and prepared plenty of livestock for Winter to eat.

"Keep an eye on him."

Lynn dismounted, leaving them with that simple command.

"Yes, my lord."

Lynn helped Myrcella down from the dragon's back, her legs still a little unsteady.

"Winter, I'll have people bring you food regularly. Stay here and behave."

"If you want to go out and play, or hunt because you don't have enough food, make sure you wait until nightfall. Don't let anyone see you."

"Otherwise, your dad will be in serious trouble."

Winter nodded almost like a person, then looked around the enormous Dragonpit with curiosity.

Then Lynn and Myrcella put on the plain cloaks prepared for them and silently slipped into the night in King's Landing.

When the two stepped back into the oppressive corridors of the Red Keep.

A figure in a white cloak was leaning against the corner of the corridor leading to Maegor's Holdfast, as though waiting specifically for them.

Jaime Lannister.

Someone had been assigned to report the moment Lynn and Myrcella entered King's Landing, and Jaime had come here expressly to wait for Lynn.

The usual flippancy was gone from his handsome face, replaced by a complicated, appraising look.

"Lynn."
