Given the current state of the roads, traveling at full speed from Wilderness Town to Rivendell would take roughly ten days to half a month. Even that was only possible because Allen had led his troops in opening the gorge through High Pass, greatly shortening the journey. Taking the upper route through High Pass would mean spending at least half a month simply crossing the rugged peaks of the Misty Mountains.
Carrying Allen's wishes with him, Abinas hurriedly rode out of the flower-filled Wilderness Town. He needed to deliver the news as quickly as possible so that the treasures of the Kingdom of Arnor could be recovered sooner.
Over the following days, Allen became busy with his own affairs again. Aside from everything happening in Wilderness Town, there was also more and more to deal with in the Simulator.
The other scenarios were manageable, since Allen could control their progress himself. Wincord Castle, his holding on the Calradia Continent, had also been fairly peaceful for the past year or two, steadily providing several thousand Denars a month to his treasury in the Simulator. Allen had spent that money buying large quantities of leather armor to equip the levies recruited throughout his territory. Weapons were relatively straightforward: the hundreds of blacksmiths under him could forge spears and short swords themselves, while the development of Steel Mine Town had solved his shortage of iron ore.
Besides providing a steady income, the castle occupied an excellent location right beside Uxkhal. Under his family's protection, Allen rarely had to deal with trouble unless a major war broke out between nations. Recently, however, things had become rather unsettled.
Previously, whenever Allen entered the simulation, he would lead his troops to help his father in this world, Earl Dilinard, clear out the Forest Bandits around Uxkhal
