At the construction site of the new Sanctuary of the Blessed in Braavos,
The basic framework of the Sanctuary of the Blessed was now complete: an enormous seven-story temple, the tallest building in Braavos. This was all thanks to dragonstone, which could be forged into any size or shape, making construction extraordinarily fast.
Dragonstone was also far superior in quality to the hardest natural stone in this world, allowing it to bear the weight of a seven-story temple. The master craftsmen were currently making a bronze dome for its main hall.
Some of the ordinary craftsmen and laborers had therefore been assigned to level the shattered rocky hill where the House of Black and White had stood.
Danyla and her Great Dragons had already forged the stone at the site and the surrounding rubble into dragonstone. As a result, considerable stretches of barren earth were now exposed around the enormous crater and needed to be leveled for further construction.
Because Danyla paid such high wages, almost everyone in Braavos with no work to do had flocked here.
This had indeed accelerated construction, but some people inevitably began cutting corners and shirking their duties. The Dragon Guards overseeing the work had therefore brought in more men. Under their supervision, the workers naturally did their best to find something to do.
Then a group of workers leveling the ground happened upon a secret passage.
"Your Highness, word has come from the Sanctuary of the Blessed construction site that the craftsmen have discovered an underground chamber."
