Isara was tall and fit, and her Valyrian steel longsword whistled through the air as she wielded it with sweeping, graceful movements. The blade rang like a howl. As she swung the sword, the magical energy within her scorching body surged as well, beginning to radiate an intimidating pressure.
Even the skilled knights of the Seven Kingdoms might not have been a match for her now.
Danyla had never imagined that Isara possessed such talent. She had actually worked out a way to combine swordsmanship practice with magical energy cultivation all on her own.
Pleased with herself, Isara used her flaming Valyrian Steel Sword to grill octopus for her younger brothers and sisters.
The tender octopus meat sizzled beautifully under the scorching heat of the sword. Before long, the aroma of grilled octopus filled the Sky Garden, drawing Omanrion, the seventh son, Ityla, and the others over.
Igaia, the eighth daughter, swallowed and said,
"Isara, your octopus-grilling skills must be the finest in all the Seven Kingdoms!"
Omanrion, the seventh son, eagerly agreed,
"Exactly! We're in for a real treat this time! Deep-sea octopus grilled on a Valyrian Steel Sword-who could ever have imagined cooking like that? Hahaha!"
Isara merely smiled without answering, deftly turning the sword. Orange-red flames danced along its blade, making the sliced octopus sizzle. Its surface soon turned golden, glistening enticingly with oil.
The youngest boy, Osanrion, could not resist reaching for a piece, but Ityla lightly slapped his hand to stop him.
"You little glutton, it's not ready yet! You'll burn yourself!"
Osanrion stuck out his tongue sheepishly and obediently withdrew his hand.
The octopus was ready in no time. After dividing it into portions, Isara offered the first piece to Danyla before handing the rest to her younger siblings.
Everyone eagerly took a bite.
