Over the next few days, Chen Yu kept calculating something with pen and paper. Chrome, who had been working on research with Senku, was baffled. "Chen Yu, what are you calculating? A new invention?"
Chrome had calculated data with Senku before, so seeing Chen Yu working through numbers made him think Chen Yu was researching something new, too.
"No, there's just too much to calculate." Chen Yu put down his pen, looking utterly defeated.
Working out this date was just too hard. He really had no idea how to calculate it. There were clearly 365 days in a year, yet the date kept changing.
"Go do your thing. Let me work on this a little longer," Chen Yu said, waving a hand. There was no need to trouble anyone else; he had to rely on himself for this. If only he had a calendar. Then he would know the exact date and would not have to go to all this trouble to work out when a holiday fell.
(I think I already wrote that the electric light problem was solved. I took a quick look, and yes, it was. They even had indicator lights during the surgery, so that means it was solved.)

"Calculations?" Senku stopped what he was doing and listened to Chrome's question, puzzled.
