Ye Fei left Hidden Dragon Village, entered the Free and Easy Gate, and gained Azure Dragon’s help to cleanse his spiritual root and cultivate. After surviving plots by Liu Yishan’s allies and discovering the Medicine God Cauldron, he returned to the sect and began tending Jiang Mengyun’s herb terraces with Jiang Yiyun.

• Ye Canglong revealed the Jade Plaque hidden in the stone pillow, and Ye Fei traveled to the Free and Easy Gate, where he was accepted as the Yellow-Skirted Beauty’s nominal disciple despite his five-element mixed spirit root.
• After Liu Yishan abducted Ye Fei and brought him to Azure Dragon Valley, Azure Dragon fed him Spirit-Washing Fruits, revealed the valley’s treasures, and secured Ye Fei’s oath to help restore his physical body.
• Ye Fei used the Azure Dragon Sword’s medicine field to grow herbs and rice, repeatedly cleansed his spiritual root, and advanced through Qi Refining while taking sect missions and hunting Demon Beasts.
• Ye Fei and Jiang Yiyun encountered Demon Beasts drawn by her bewitching fragrance body, and Jiang Mengyun rescued them before Ye Fei continued hunting and feeding the Spirit-Washing Tree.
• Liu Yihong confronted Ye Fei over Liu Yishan’s death, but Ye Fei used Beast-Luring Incense to escape the battle and later killed Liu Yihong while collecting the Demon Beast corpses he had slain.
• Ye Fei traveled to Qingyuan Town, sold thousands of spirit herbs, and bought a strange pill furnace that Azure Dragon revealed was the Medicine God Cauldron after Huo Qiuyang’s men tried to seize it.
• Ye Fei learned that Jiang Mengyun had killed Li Zaitian and accepted her offer to tend her Herb Garden, where she gave him an Alchemy Formula and ordered him to reach Qi Refining perfection within a year.
• Ye Fei reached North Peak and prepared a cave abode as Jiang Yiyun joined him with Jiang Mengyun’s permission, while Azure Dragon explained why Ye Canglong had chosen him for the Spirit-Washing Tree.

Ye Fei advanced his cultivation, learned about his parents, and prepared for the Divine Feather Secret Realm. Inside the realm, he and Jiang Mengyun cleared the Array God Tower, obtained its treasures, and set out to gather mortal-cleansing herbs.

• Ye Fei practiced alchemy and body refinement, then cultivated inside the Azure Dragon Sword until he reached the late stage of the seventh level of Qi Refining.
• Ye Fei returned to Hidden Dragon Village, killed Wang Hai and Chen Shi, and escaped Wang Changqing after the Wang Household Estate was destroyed.
• Deng Chao told Ye Fei that Ye Canglong was his master and Fairy Luo Yue was Ye Fei’s mother, then urged him to reach the peak of Qi Refining before the secret realm opened.
• Ye Fei reached the peak of the ninth Qi Refining layer, demonstrated his strength against Jiang Feng, and received equipment and training from Luo Ying and Ning Siyu.
• Luo Ying sent Ye Fei to retrieve the Array Canon and formation treasures, and Ye Fei entered the Divine Feather Secret Realm with the Free and Easy Gate disciples.
• Ye Fei and Jiang Mengyun entered the Array God Tower, assembled its broken inscriptions, and endured the painful transfer of the Array God’s formation knowledge as they passed its trials.
