"Reunite?"
Yu Jiutian froze for a moment, then a flash of inspiration suddenly crossed his mind.
"You mean...!?"
Shi Yin nodded slightly, finally showing a hint of a smile.
"Jiutian, although we both cultivate the law of time, when it comes to seeing the 'future,' I do see just a little farther than you."
Hearing that faintly boastful remark, Yu Jiutian laughed despite his irritation.
"Fine, fine, you're fucking amazing, you're above it all!"
He rolled his eyes in exasperation, but at that moment, he finally relaxed completely.
Yu Jiutian knew just how accomplished Shi Yin was in the Dao of Time. Since he had said so, what better news could there be?
He let out a long breath. "Since you've even picked out where they'll be born, what do we do next? These old brothers' true spirits are delicate things. We can't just find some mud pit and bury them, can we?"
"No rush."
Shi Yin shook his head, his gaze turning toward somewhere in the southern part of the continent.
"Come somewhere with me first."
The two concealed themselves and turned into a gentle breeze.
Before long, they arrived outside a valley shrouded in thick fog year-round.
"What is this place?"
Yu Jiutian frowned as he studied the mist before him.
With his divine sense as the Demon Sovereign, he naturally saw through the valley's peculiarities at a glance.
Hidden within it was a Small World on the verge of collapse.
"You'll know once we're inside."
Shi Yin offered no explanation. With a sweep of his wide sleeve, he took Yu Jiutian silently through the Small World's entrance.
Just after they left...
In a secluded corner on the valley's outskirts, the breeze gently parted a patch of thick fog, revealing a simple yet cozy Thatched Cottage.
