Li Yang survived the five Evil Immortals’ killing moves with Black Tortoise and Black Serpent’s help, then healed himself with Life Nectar and killed Gongsun Ni despite the Heavenly Retribution Curse. He resumed fighting the five Evil Immortals while drawing on more Life Nectar, and the curse continued to eat away at him.

• Black Tortoise and Black Serpent shielded Li Yang from the five Evil Immortals’ attacks, suffering devastating injuries as they brought him into the Black Tortoise Space.
