He ignored the [Flagellator] kneeling below and instead slapped a creature beside him on the shoulder. "Little Three, look! My forces aren't bad, are they?"
"I'm telling you, stick with me, and you can eat nine meals a day."
"Look at this enormous safe zone. Look at all these evils paying homage to me."
"Do you know what this proves?"
[Ghost Emperor Heart] said excitedly, "It proves that here in the Third-Layer World, I'm invincible under heaven!"
"Who else could carve out a safe zone this big?"
"I'm telling you-only the great [Ghost Emperor Heart] could carve out such an enormous safe zone!"
"Three, stick with me, and you'll stand high above everyone else, throwing your weight around in this world and squeezing the people's blood and sweat out of them however you please."
"I guarantee you'll enjoy yourselves more than you did in the Present World."
The creature [Ghost Emperor Heart] called Three had the form of a Yang Spirit. He held a Golden Core in one hand and a Purple Mansion in the other.
The Purple Mansion and Golden Core had sprouted eyes, which darted around as they surveyed their surroundings, their faces full of curiosity.
Only the Yang Spirit remained fairly composed.
He touched the bruised fist mark around his eye, his hatred for [Ghost Emperor Heart] making him grit his teeth.
He had only just arrived. After fleeing into the Third-Layer World with his two brothers, he had thought he could reign supreme over heaven and earth, accomplish great things, and become a king and founding ancestor.
