Xiao Yan immediately abandoned his attempt to venture deeper into the magma pool and beat his Eagle Wings, giving chase.
Before Qing Lin even knew what had happened, the Two-Headed Snake had caught up with her.

Her speed was no match for the Two-Headed Snake's, and it soon overtook her.
Her foot slipped, and she fell to the ground. The Magical Beast knew nothing of cherishing a delicate beauty; it lunged at her with its bloody maw wide open.
The foul stench from its mouth nearly made Qing Lin faint.
"Hiss!"
Just as the Two-Headed Snake was about to swallow Qing Lin, a miraculous change suddenly took place in her eyes. The three green dots within her pupils began to flicker, then grew steadily into three tiny green flowers.
An emerald glow burst from her eyes, actually pinning the Two-Headed Snake firmly in place.
No matter how hard it struggled, it could not escape that green light.
Then the green light enveloping the Two-Headed Snake's entire body gradually contracted, slowly shrinking onto its two heads.
