This time, things had truly blown up!
Outside Wuzhuang Temple, moments earlier, it had merely been a "minor scene": Sanzang had been sent flying a thousand miles by a single palm strike, and Qingfeng had coldly shown him the door.
Lively as it had been, when all was said and done, a scripture-seeking monk from the Buddhist School had merely suffered a setback, and a boy attendant serving Zhen Yuanzi had taken action. Both sides had exercised restraint; things were still far from beyond repair.
But now, the situation was entirely different.
The Buddhist School's four great Personal Disciples: Ksitigarbha, Maitreya, Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva, and Medicine Tathagata.
The four had come together, bearing down on Wuzhuang Temple with menacing force!
Which of these four was not a figure whose name thundered throughout the Primordial World?
Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva upheld his great vow never to become a Buddha until hell was empty. Maitreya Buddha was the embodiment of the Future Buddha, while Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva and Medicine Tathagata were pillars of the Buddhist School's fighting strength.
With all four acting together, this show of force went far beyond a "visit" or "demand for an explanation."
They were plainly resorting to force!
On distant clouds, the Loose Cultivators and Mighty Experts watching the scene had erupted into an uproar.
"Good heavens! The Buddhist School's four great Personal Disciples are actually making their move?!"
"Forcing their way into Wuzhuang Temple? Isn't that Great Immortal Zhen Yuanzi's cultivation sanctuary? How dare they?!"
"They've gone mad, utterly mad! What happened today might just poke a hole through the heavens!"
An Old Cultivator spoke, his face deathly pale and his voice trembling:
"Don't forget, although Great Immortal Zhen Yuanzi has yet to attain the Dao and become a Sage, he is still a peak Quasi-Saint!"
