Seeing things take a turn for the worse, Shiranui Asuka immediately pulled out a wooden stick with two bells hanging from its tip. Beside her, a golden glow slowly rose around Ramla.

"Oh! Oh! My heavens, two beautiful ladies." Cavendish held Chada's mangled arm in his hand. Chada was still screaming, but Cavendish smiled at Ramla and Asuka as though nothing had happened. "What are you doing? Please don't misunderstand. I mean neither of you any harm."

"I'm glad you mean us no harm," Ramla said coolly. "But for the gods' sake, I hope you'll release this poor mother."

"Yes! Please let Senior Chada go at once!" Asuka shouted as well, the bells in her hand jingling softly.

"The God of Legends from Greece, Miss Ramla." Cavendish softly recited her name. "You should know that even the gods do not readily forgive betrayal, shouldn't you?"

Ramla frowned slightly at his words. The golden light around her actually began to fade, and she hesitated.

"The gods indeed do not forgive betrayal." Ramla nodded. "You're right, sir. You have your position. I was discourteous."

"Very good, Miss Ramla. There's no need for us to fight. Please take a seat to the side."

Ramla gave a slight nod and sat down nearby.

Asuka stared blankly at Ramla. "Huh? Sister Ramla... you..."

Still smiling, Cavendish turned to Asuka. "Miss Shiranui, the Time Master, would your seniors permit you to use Yin-Yang Arts within another country's history?"

"I don't care!!!" Though she was trembling a little, Asuka still shouted, "Don't say any of that to me!!! My seniors would never be as terrifying as you! Let Brother Chada go right now! Otherwise, I'll attack!!"

"Ahem!" Du Yu coughed a few times and slowly rose to his feet. "All right, A-Xiang. You're a friend worth having."
