Ju Wu visibly froze. The scheme he had spent so long devising had actually failed to work on them?
"You're saying you escorted him all the way here just so he could die?!" Ju Wu's eyes darted wildly. He simply could not understand it.
"Yes. If you understand, then get lost," Du Yu said.
Gritting his teeth, Ju Wu slowly turned and left, his expression full of malice.
"No... they must be bluffing..." Ju Wu sneered. "Do they think saying that will make me spare Wuming? How naive..."
In the sky, Xingtian and the Yellow Emperor gradually ran out of strength. Finally, after another exchange of punches, both retreated several yards.
"Wuming, how much strength do you have left?" the Yellow Emperor asked.
"Not much. One move," Xingtian answered slowly. "You?"
"Half a move, at most," the Yellow Emperor admitted.
"In that case, let us end this battle." Xingtian turned his hand and clenched it, and the Qi Axe lying on the ground flew back into his grasp.
"Exactly what I had in mind." The Yellow Emperor flicked his fingers as well, recalling the Xuanyuan Sword.
The last of their magic power gathered in their hands. Victory and defeat would all be wagered on this one move.
The enormous axe in Xingtian's hand began to radiate dazzling light, while the Yellow Emperor's Xuanyuan Sword let out a mournful cry like a wild beast.
"Qi Slay!"
Xingtian hurled the axe in his hand at the Yellow Emperor with all his might.
"Xuanyuan Swordlight!"
At that same moment, the Yellow Emperor launched his magic treasure at Xingtian.
In that flash of lightning and flying sparks, someone suddenly shouted from the ground:
"Wuming! Stop! I have Houtu!"
Xingtian visibly hesitated at those words and looked down. His magic treasure gradually slowed as well.
