Everyone came up to Du Yu, gathering around the enormous black Buddha.

Even the Heavenly Venerables saw Du Yu in a new light now. Just how skilled was this young man at orchestrating everything to have gathered so many allies amid such a chaotic battle?

Even Du Yu was a little puzzled. Since when had he developed such a grasp of the big picture?

"Hey, brother!" Shuten said. "Have you seen what the Armed Monster Alliance can do now? When are you joining us?"

Before Du Yu could answer, two more strange people emerged from the crowd, each carrying a pair of Giant Scissors on their back.

One of them, a woman who looked very much like someone not to be trifled with, strode straight up to Du Yu and planted herself right in front of him.

Du Yu frowned. He knew he had never met this woman, but her clothes bore some resemblance to Shiranui Jinkuro's. Could they know each other?

"Du Yu?" the woman asked.

"Huh?" Du Yu paused. "That's me."

"How old?" the woman asked again.

"How old?" Du Yu scratched his head, feeling that things were getting a little strange. "How old is what?"

"Vulgar!" the woman snapped. "I asked how old you are!"

"Uh, you've misunderstood... I didn't mean anything else... I'm over twenty and under thirty."

The woman curled her lip irritably, then said, "That young?"

"Young?" Du Yu shot back, equally irritated.

"Let me ask you something else. How much do you earn a year now?"

"Look, you're a really strange woman... Why are you asking these questions?" Du Yu found her utterly unreasonable. "I don't even know you. Answering two questions out of courtesy was generous enough. We're at a life-or-death juncture here. Do you think you're conducting a household registration check?"
