Hello, everyone. I'm the author of this book, Insect Exterminator.
First, let me take a deep breath. There's one thing I absolutely have to say, and that is-
It's finished! Shower it with flowers!!!!
(Xiao Xiang: Crackle, pop, crackle, pop...)
You've asked me lots of questions, and I can't reply to every one, so I'll answer them together in this chapter.
Regardless, thank you so much to everyone who made it to this chapter. However many of you there are, you're a precious treasure to me.
Thinking back, this really has been a long journey. From typing the very first word to placing the final period, it's been an incredible experience.
Well, this word count might not amount to much for the great masters of writing, but for an author serializing a story for the first time, it's honestly... pure fantasy.
I don't know whether you've noticed, but I'm genuinely a novice when it comes to "webnovels," so I initially wrote this as though it were a book for print publication. After all, you've got to have dreams. I really haven't read many webnovels, only a few of the most popular ones, like Zhu Xian, Tomb Robbers, Ghost Blows Out the Light, Battle Through the Heavens, Soul Land, and Horror House. As a result, I often don't even understand the tropes you talk about. I'm truly ashamed.
(A Can: I'm ashamed on his behalf, too...)
Among published works, books by Jin Yong, Gu Long, Mo Yan, Liu Cixin, Han Han, and the suspense writer Ning Hangyi have all inspired me a great deal. I also really enjoy comics, films, and games with strong stories.
That might also explain why my pacing feels a little strange compared with other webnovels, so let me apologize first. Thank you, truly, for patiently listening
