Gu Xizhou smiled. "Those things really are miraculous. Once you merge with them, your entire body becomes a formation, enough to contend with qi refiners.
"But they're truly hard to find. It all comes down to fate and luck. Do you think you're lucky enough?"
Li Ping'an thought back over his experiences, then shook his head.
"Not particularly. It's just..."
"Just what?"
"Nothing."
Li Ping'an had wanted to say, My luck isn't very good, but I have a long lifespan on my side.
Gu Xizhou said, "Anyway, I don't recommend looking for them. The truth is, no one knows where Great Dao Runes will appear.
"They might be in some sacred mountain temple, or they might be in an alley in town. You could miss them without even realizing it."
Li Ping'an smiled without a word.
Gu Xizhou stayed for only a day before leaving.
He said he had arranged a fight with someone at Demon-Suppressing Pass.
Before that, he had to return to the Academy to visit his teacher.
