Kitten raised his head, his little face solemn as he stared at Li Ping'an.
"Did Big Ping’an pet another cat?"
"Uh..."
"It was the City God's cat."
Kitten shook his head. "Fairy doesn't know that cat."
"The City God brought the cat from his hometown. Fairy hasn't met that cat before."
Kitten said nothing, simply staring at him.
It was as though he were asking, didn't you have a cat at home? Why did you have to go pet someone else's cat?
Li Ping'an smiled and reached out to stroke Kitten's head.
"They're both cats, but that one clearly isn't as clever as Fairy."
"That's right!" Kitten nodded.
