PS:
The final PS for this book. A happy ending all around.
It really wasn't easy getting this far.
I still remember being at a bathhouse when I first had the idea to write this book.
I was scrolling through videos while getting a foot massage.
I happened upon a little story about repaying kindness, and its protagonist was a blind man.
That gave me the idea to write a novel about it.
I typed the first word of this book right there in the bathhouse.

Now, the one massaging my feet was a...
I got sidetracked.
As of now, this book has reached ten million reads.
Three million bookshelf adds.
It's my best-performing book since I entered the profession.
Thank you all for keeping me company over this nearly year-long stretch.
I don't want to say too much sentimental stuff. You all know what kind of person I am.

Thank you for choosing me from the boundless sea of books~
It's like choosing a massage therapist: before you've seen the photo, you never know what's behind that number.
I went off on a tangent again.
Anyway, thank you, every one of you. I'm not someone who's particularly good at sticking with things.
Maybe it's because I never really encountered any setbacks growing up.
Without your support, I definitely wouldn't have kept writing this long.
Of course, you don't need to feel so sad. We'll meet again.
This novel ends here. See you in the next book.
The new book should be released in January.
