Background & History

Great Xia is Lin Xuan's homeland and a major Earth Origin Star nation. Its territory and population are each more than twice those of the Xia Kingdom on Blue Star; it contains thirty-six provinces in addition to special regions such as Skysea Island. The Imperial Capital is notably more technologically advanced and magnificent than cities such as Dragon River City or Skysea Island. 40 41

The public emergence of Old Soil more than seventy years earlier transformed Great Xia's development and strategic priorities. Great Xia's frontier provinces, including Colorful Cloud Province, gained importance because their greater number of Bridges offered access to Old Soil. 16 41
