When Hu Tutu had finished grieving, she wiped her face and looked up, only to freeze in place.
The scenery around her had changed completely. Grass covered the ground, the sky had turned a clear blue, and a picturesque lawn had replaced the once pure-white space.
The soft light all around made this place seem even more like a scene that could only appear in dreams.
"Where is this? Where's my painting? Huh? Where's my brush?" Little Fox hurriedly stood up. The brush in her hand had vanished at some point without her knowing.
The painting she had worked so hard on had also been replaced by the dreamlike scene before her!
Only her suona lay quietly at her feet. It was as though that brush had never existed, or as though it had disappeared after completing its mission!
In its place was this scenery before her, like something out of a dream.
Little Fox blankly pinched her own face. Only after confirming that she was not dreaming did she carefully look around.
She twitched her nose, taking in the scent of earth and fresh grass. This felt more like a real world!
When a gentle breeze blew and leaves began to rustle, Little Fox turned to look at the sole great tree in the distance.
The enormous tree was thick with branches and leaves, its countless leaves stirring in the wind.
Even more eye-catching was the small grave mound beneath the tree, with a modest gravestone standing before it.
When Hu Tutu stood up and looked toward the grave mound, an inexplicably familiar feeling instantly sent tears streaming down her face, as though countless threads connected her to the person buried there.
She walked toward the grave mound involuntarily, looking at the gravestone before it.
