The Sky-Piercing Giant Pillar broke, beginning the Heaven and Earth Reunion and threatening every living being. As Bai Feiyu and the gods struggled to delay the worlds’ merger, Dongxu Zi called on the Great Cultivators to rise and hold back the falling sky.

• The Asura Demon God’s headlong attack snapped the Sky-Piercing Giant Pillar, and the Million Gods tried to reinforce the celestial barrier as heaven and earth began to merge.

Dongxu Zi sealed the God-Sealing Treasure Books and revealed that he had plotted against Bai Feiyu to prevent the Divine Dao from ruling alone. He sent Bai Feiyu back to Little Mountain Peak as cultivators across the Cultivation World rose together to hold back the falling heavens.

Bai Feiyu watched the Great Crane and Great Whale battle as the Immortals and all beings fought over Heaven and Earth’s Ultimate Principles. Dongxu Zi used a Fishing Rod made from Pure White Space to hook the Great Whale, leaving its fate uncertain.

• Bai Feiyu returned to Little Mountain Peak and met Little Bie San, who feigned ignorance when asked where Eldest Senior Brother had gone.
• Bai Feiyu watched the Great Crane, formed by all beings, battle the Great Whale, formed by the Immortals, and realized neither could win quickly.
• Bai Feiyu prepared to intervene but stopped when he saw Dongxu Zi on the Great Crane’s head.

As the whale's pieces possessed hesitant cultivators and thirty-four half-step Immortals confronted Dongxu Zi, he called for Eldest Senior Brother to emerge.

• Dongxu Zi used the fishing rod to bind the Great Whale and urged the Great Cultivators to hurry to the Extreme Eastern Land.
• Great Cultivators burned themselves to mend Heaven and Earth, lifting the collapsing Demon Realm as Su Xiaoqi and Mu Yunge joined them.

Chongming slaughtered the False Immortals who attacked him and Dongxu Zi, then reunited with his junior brother and prepared to confront the Demon Realm. He took up the Fishing Rod and Brocade Box, and warned Dongxu Zi not to hold him back as they faced what remained.

• Thirty-four False Immortals attacked Chongming and Dongxu Zi with their powers of law, and Chongming told Dongxu Zi to close his eyes.
• While Dongxu Zi recalled his memories of Chongming as Eldest Senior Brother, Chongming slaughtered the False Immortals.
• Chongming put on his Black Robe again, and Dongxu Zi burned the scattered remains to ash with sun true fire.
• Chongming reminded Dongxu Zi that the Demon Realm still remained and took up the Fishing Rod and Brocade Box.
• Chongming told Dongxu Zi not to drag him down, and Dongxu Zi eagerly agreed.

Chongming sacrificed himself to wrench the Demon Realm upright and unite it with the Cultivation World, while passing his accumulated merit to the Brocade Box. Dongxu Zi then transformed into a Seven-Colored Great Crane and flew across the united realms to mend the broken sky.

• Chongming left the Fishing Rod and a Storage Bag containing a Demon Beast Egg with Bai Feiyu, who received the seal character and learned of the plan to eradicate the Immortals and resolve the Immortal Great Calamity.

• Heaven and Earth opened, their skies turned yellow-green, and the River of Time began flowing again after millions upon millions of years.
• As the Great Cultivators became scarce, ambitious Cultivators prepared to seize power in the coming upheaval.
• Tai'a appeared above the Sword Sect and declared that he would guard Heaven and Earth by heaven's mandate.
• Tai'a told Song Mu to become the true Number One Under Heaven and said he would teach him one final sword strike.
• Tai'a charged into Chaos, leaving a white lotus imprint in the sky and declaring that his sword would guard the Heavenly Gate.

After witnessing the living beings restore Heaven and Earth, Bai Feiyu discovered that Hu Yan had died and Jiang Xiaotong was being reborn in the Three-Colored Lotus. He traced his timeline to find that it began only at his first God-Sealing, then desperately searched the River of Time for Ouyang, whose strand of hair was all that remained.

• Song Mu received the complete White Lotus Sword Intent after his master departed, while Bai Feiyu watched the living beings’ sacrifices restore the barrier between Heaven and Earth.

In Zhuyin’s territory, Zu Yuan found the last Demon God’s statue beside an unfinished statue that looked like his Second Senior Brother.

• Ouyang listened as Zu Yuan described the Great Cultivators ascending the Heavenly Gate, slaying an immortal, and overturning the heavens.
• Zu Yuan wondered whether the Great Cultivators’ sacrifices in his previous life had weakened the Cultivation World before the Devil Race invasion, but remained convinced that the great calamity would still come.

Zu Yuan and Ouyang entered the Zhuyin Tribe’s territory to claim the last strand of Demon God power. After the devils failed to recognize Zu Yuan and attacked, he charged into their ranks, while Ouyang received a mission prompt showing that four of five Heavenly Fate archvillains had been killed.

• Zu Yuan explained that the Zhuyin Tribe held the final Demon God power he needed to gather all twelve powers.
• Devils in the tribe failed to recognize Zu Yuan or his father, Great Demon Venerable Chongming, and mocked him by mistaking them for relatives.
• Zu Yuan released the power of eleven Demon Gods, sending the devils flying and throwing the Zhuyin Tribe into chaos.
• The Zhuyin Tribe’s devils armed themselves and rushed toward Zu Yuan and Ouyang, believing the other tribes had come to seize their Father God.

After Hui Zhi’s death, Ouyang realized that Chen Changsheng was the fifth and final villain ordained by heavenly fate, destined to become the next great calamity. He resolved to kill his beloved Third Junior Brother to complete the system mission and draw out the hidden mastermind.

• Ouyang received the system notification confirming Hui Zhi’s death and counted Zu Yuan, himself, Ling Feng, and Hui Zhi among the four fallen villains.

Zu Yuan and Ouyang entered the Zhuj iu Tribe to take its Demon God’s power, where they met Chongyang, the tribe’s Witch and Chongming’s biological daughter. Zu Yuan drained Zhuyin’s power from her sealed body, and Ouyang’s familiar address made Zu Yuan realize he had called him Changsheng.

• Zu Yuan pushed Ouyang into Zhuj iu territory after defeating the tribe’s devils, who accepted him despite their defiance.
• Chongyang revealed that the statue held no Zhuyin power and identified herself as the Zhuj iu Witch.
• Ouyang recognized Chongyang as Chongming’s daughter and told Zu Yuan she was his biological older sister.
• Zu Yuan seized Chongyang and absorbed Zhuyin’s power from the seal inside her, causing her to pass out.
• Ouyang called Zu Yuan Changsheng, and Zu Yuan reacted in surprise.

Ouyang revealed that he had recognized Zu Yuan as Chen Changsheng, and his understanding brought Chen Changsheng’s fear and grief to an end. Chen Changsheng admitted his true identity to his Eldest Senior Brother.

• Ouyang called Zu Yuan by the name Chen Changsheng, leaving Zu Yuan overwhelmed and afraid to face him.
• Zu Yuan weakly denied being Chen Changsheng, but Ouyang beckoned him closer and flicked his forehead.

Chen Changsheng mourned his master and confronted Ouyang over his failing health, then resolved to unite the Twelve Demon Gods’ powers and become the Demon Realm’s heavenly Dao to end the Dao-Demon War. He planned to leave Ouyang the Demon Realm’s rule and a powerful array, unaware that the Nascent Soul within his Black Lotus was stirring.

• Ouyang offered wine in remembrance of the dead master, and Chen Changsheng grieved beside him.
• Chen Changsheng seized Ouyang and demanded that he promise to stay alive; Ouyang reminded him of the wish he owed and promised to live.
