The arc left him at the Martial Saint Academy, where he battled its disciples and elders as Xia Yao’s illness worsened, still demanding to see Ming Yue.

• Xia Yu awakened the Heaven-Incinerating Furnace and Ancestral Dragon Boundless Art, then killed Xia Fan for attacking Xia Yao and challenged Xia Longfei to a fight to the death.
• Xia Yu killed Xia Yonggang, hunted demonic beasts in the Ten Thousand Demons Forest, activated three small worlds, and acquired the Sin Dragon Spear and the alchemical inheritance in a cavern.
• Xia Yu returned to find Xia Yao denied medicine by the Xia family, took her to the Myriad Treasures Pavilion, and refined King Pills that temporarily eased her illness.

After enduring dangerous cultivation to strengthen himself for Xia Yao’s sake, he killed the disciples who injured Su Xiang'er and Shen Yuxuan, drawing an enraged figure to confront him.
