"Li Fei was already stronger than me after only two years?!" Zhong Weibiao stared at Li Fei below the stage in disbelief. He had watched the entire battle. Though he did not know what had happened within the black mist, Li Fei's smile and Meng Shenji's words told him that the stronger Education Committee member had likely suffered a silent loss.
"Captain, will Li Fei threaten your position after he joins us?" the vice-captain beside him leaned over and asked.
"What can I do if I'm weaker than him? If he becomes captain, then I'll accept it!" Zhong Weibiao gritted his teeth, his expression somewhat downcast.
"But in three years, he only trained with us for a little over a month. The brothers won't accept him!" the vice-captain said gravely.
"Yeah, Captain!" the other team members nearby immediately echoed him.
Zhong Weibiao fell silent and did not answer their questions.
To win everyone over, strength was only one aspect. Sharing hardship and joy was what built bonds. "You can! What position do you want?" Meng Shenji glanced at Zhong Weibiao and the others in the distance, whose expressions were unpleasant, then turned back and asked in a deep voice.
"Captain Zhong and the others work together seamlessly, and the team doesn't lack Attack-Type Soul Masters. I'll just be a substitute. I can participate in the individual matches when needed."
