They stopped Yuan Huai from freeing the Demon Emperor, but Yun Mo emerged marked as a target of the Extraterritorial Evil Clan, just as the next selection was announced.

• Qing Yilun forced Yun Mo and Qing He into the Spirit Road, where Yun Mo ambushed Mu Chen before realizing who he was.
• Yun Mo joined forces with Wen Qingxuan, gathered Nine-Leaf Fruits, and recruited Wu Ling after the group reached the Guardian Land.

Yun Mo and his companions survived the Spirit Road trials, claimed powerful Tokens, and joined the Five Great Academies, while Yun Mo used the Emperor Seal Fragment to resist the Evil Clan’s mark. After choosing the Martial Spirit Academy, Yun Mo entered its Martial Dao Tower and revealed devastating emperor-infused techniques.

• Wu Ling, Wen Qingxuan, Wu Yingying, and Yun Mo defeated groups seeking their Tokens, reached the final Guardian Land, and fought through the Martial Combat Arena until the trial ended.
• Yun Mo, Wen Qingxuan, and Wu Yingying followed Ji Xuan’s group to a Mountain Ghost’s lair, seized its Spirit Core and Spirit Jade, and forced Ji Xuan and his companions to flee.
• Yun Mo entered the Central Divine Temple and found the Emperor Seal Fragment, which helped him weaken the Demon Emperor mark and protect his consciousness before he awoke days later.
• Yun Mo and his companions returned to the Great Thousand World for Spiritual Energy Empowerment, where Wen Qingxuan, Qing He, Wu Ling, and Wu Yingying advanced, and Yun Mo reached the Heaven Transformation Realm.
• Wen Qingxuan defeated Liu Qingyun, while Ji Xuan and Luo Li fought to a standstill, leaving Wen Qingxuan as Spirit Crown Holder, and the deans then granted king titles and invited the students to choose academies.

In Stone Forest City, they uncovered a plot around the Heavenly Evolution Divine Stone, stole it, killed Yu Shun, and reached Spirit Gathering City with Jian Yuan and Qu Liang searching for them.

• Yun Mo advanced through the Martial Dao Tower, developed Momentary Eternity, and later joined Wen Qingxuan on the Supreme Road after receiving the flowing flame.
• At the Heavenly Prodigy Banquet, Yun Mo and Wen Qingxuan learned of the Phoenix Blood Pool and traveled there with Lin Jing, using spatial Ancestral Spirit Stones to enter it.
• When the Blood Pool’s demonic taint sparked a fight, Yun Mo, Wen Qingxuan, and Lin Jing defeated Gui Lin and the other cultivators who tried to seize their Phoenix blood.
• After escaping an ambush on the way to Stone Forest City, Yun Mo and Lin Jing gambled on Mystic Stones, and Yun Mo uncovered a divine spirit sword that fled into a guarded forbidden area.
