Taking some time to think about the plot...

As the title says, I was away on business today and only managed to write a little under a thousand words. I might not be able to post the update on time tonight, so I may need to take another day off...

I feel this stretch of the story might be a little dull, especially the parts about clashes between armies.

I tried writing some of that, but it really might not be my strong suit. It's a blind spot in my knowledge.

Going forward, I'll focus more on individual characters. That might work better, and you'll probably enjoy reading it more too, so I'll also take this time to readjust my direction toward something that suits me better and makes the reading experience more enjoyable for everyone... ヽ(゙≧▽≦*)o
