Zeng Mu and Ma Linya stared blankly, their faces pale and their expressions frozen, just like the thoughts in their heads. They thought they had misheard, but then Stee Jane spoke again:
"Hehe, it looks like I startled you. Everyone makes that face when they first hear my age. Please don't be too surprised. It's perfectly normal."
"There's no way that's normal..." Zeng Mu murmured instinctively. Catching himself, he immediately shook his head and waved his hands. "Sorry, I mean I'm very surprised..."
"Miss... oh, no, Aunt Jane, how exactly do you keep yourself looking so ageless? It's simply unbelievable." Ma Linya voiced her curiosity without reservation.
"Well... hehe, that's a secret I can't tell." Stee Jane gave a soft laugh.
Zeng Mu and Ma Linya had wanted to ask more, but after hearing that, he felt too embarrassed to press the matter. For a while, they sank into thought again without saying a word.
"Please enjoy. If you like it, do be sure to visit this café again whenever you come to Vites Town. I'm always here." With that, Stee Jane gracefully carried her tray away and returned to the counter, where she resumed making coffee with the other café attendants.
"It looks like she really loves coffee." Stee Jane's profile and face as she worked were so distinctive and captivating that a single glance made this beautiful woman hard to forget. Once someone learned how her appearance compared with her true age, they were bound to be so astonished that they doubted their own ears. It was simply incredible. Could such an ageless, beautiful woman really exist?
Neither of them could now focus on the coffee in their mouths or the night scenery outside the window as they had before. Both were guessing at the reason and secret
