Flames shot skyward, and the shock wave hurled away more than a dozen nearby soldiers who had failed to drop in time.
Through the thick smoke, a large section of carapace along the Burrowing Earth Dragon's midsection could clearly be seen curling outward from the blast, exposing the mangled soft tissue beneath.
