Ch. 441Battle on the sea

Liu Yishou commanded the fleet as the Ocean Demon Clan launched massive underwater assaults, but the ships’ ammunition ran critically low while reinforcements surged from the deep. With two larger waves approaching and supply ships hours away, he ordered the fleet into a defensive formation and prepared the Marines for boarding combat as the battle’s decisive threat remained the nuclear-resistant Demon God.

  • Liu Yishou ordered the fleet to attack the Ocean Demon Clan underwater with torpedoes and depth charges, but more enemies surrounded Hailong Number Three.
  • Liu Yishou approved Hailong Number Three’s Electric Eel System, which cleared the surrounding enemies, then authorized Changnan to use its system against demons climbing its hull.
  • Liu Yishou learned that the fleet’s ammunition was nearly depleted and that Taihang Mountain and Dongting Lake would need at least two hours to return with supplies.
  • The sonar operator detected two larger waves of demons approaching from deeper water, and Liu Yishou ordered the ships into a circular defensive formation and the Marines onto the decks.
  • Liu Yishou looked toward the distant battle, where the Demon God remained the fleet’s greatest threat, as portals continued sending supplies to the front.

Ch. 442Great Xia's military factories on Blue Star worked until they smoked

Great Xia’s military factories and transport network worked at full capacity to supply the war against the Demon Clan on Terra. The chapter left ammunition shipments delayed by congestion as the Arctic Military Base urgently awaited reinforcements.

  • Wang Jianguo reprimanded a young worker for dozing and urged the factory crew to work faster to save soldiers on the front line.
  • Wang Jianguo explained that the factory now built missile thrusters to help kill the Demon Clan, then sent the young worker to eat and rest before returning to work.
  • A female officer coordinated ammunition trains through Great Xia’s congested underground transit network.
  • The military factories sent weapons and ammunition toward Arctic Military Base, where the gateway to another world stood.

Ch. 443No options left, ammunition running low, a desperate situation

The Demon Clan Army overwhelmed Terra and Great Xia’s defenses on land and at the coast, while a Level One Space-Jumping Beast secretly recorded the coordinates of a Portal leading to Terra. The defenders’ ammunition and positions were failing as the demons closed to within five hundred meters of the Portals.

  • The Demon Clan Army broke through the Allied Army’s second defensive line, forcing Great Xia’s automated weapons, robotic dogs, soldiers, and tanks to defend the Portals.
  • Demons landed on the coast and pushed through high-voltage grids, mines, and concentrated fire from the beach defenses.
  • A Level One Space-Jumping Beast secretly recorded the coordinates of the Portal connecting to Terra, then slipped back into the sea.
  • The Demon Clan Army advanced to within five hundred meters of the Portals as the company commander and his soldiers held their ground under heavy losses.
  • Long Zhan received reports of lost Pangu Guards squads, destroyed forward positions, dwindling naval ammunition, and demons approaching the Portals.

Ch. 444Great Xia's ultimate weapon

As the Demon Clan neared Great Xia’s portal, Long Zhan sent Lin Mo to seek help from the Holy Human Race and prepared to destroy the portal. Just before he could give the order, Qian Zhenhua arrived with an antimatter bomb and declared that Great Xia still had hope.

  • Long Zhan told Lin Mo to take the weapons and ammunition in his Spatial Ring to the Holy Human Race and secure another portal to Blue Star.
  • Lin Mo said farewell to Long Zhan, Zhao Gang, and the staff officers, then left for the Holy Human Race portal.
  • Long Zhan ordered the last nine nuclear bombs prepared and hesitated to activate the portal’s self-destruct device as the Demon Clan approached within three hundred meters.
  • Qian Zhenhua rushed into the Command Center carrying a briefcase and announced that Great Xia still had hope.
  • Qian Zhenhua opened the case and revealed an antimatter bomb.

Ch. 445Who would die with it?

Great Xia revealed an antimatter bomb capable of killing the Eighth Order Demon God, but it required someone to detonate it at close range and die with the target. Pope Gregory VII volunteered, and Lin Mo promised to protect the Holy Human Race as the chapter left the four leaders facing Ao Lingsi on the battlefield.

  • Qian Zhenhua revealed that the antimatter bomb could annihilate the Demon God but had to be detonated manually at close range, killing its user.
  • Long Zhan told the four leaders that someone would have to die with the bomb, and Queen Ellari, Warwick, and Muradin hesitated over their responsibilities and unfinished lives.
  • Pope Gregory VII volunteered to carry the bomb, saying his old injuries had left him with little time and asking that Lin Mo be told to lead the Holy Human Race.
  • Lin Mo heard Gregory's words and swore that the Holy Human Race would have the same rights and dignity as Great Xia's citizens.
  • Ao Lingsi paused the battle, assessed the leaders' healing and defenses, and offered them surrender and service to the Demon Clan.

Ch. 446Transporting the Antimatter Weapon

The Great Xia forces launched a drone swarm carrying an antimatter bomb toward the Pope while covering it with anti-aircraft weapons and fighters. Demon God Ao Lingsi spotted the drones and charged to intercept them.

  • The Pope asked General Long to bring the bomb, and Qian Zhenhua warned that its casing could detonate if struck.
  • Zhao Gang proposed hiding the bomb among a hundred drones, and a soldier secured it beneath the center drone.
  • Long Zhan ordered anti-aircraft guns and fighters to cover the drone swarm as it flew through attacks from Winged Demons and Gargoyles.
  • Ao Lingsi broke Warwick’s arm and nearly tore it off, but the Pope struck his gripping arm with holy light and let Warwick escape.
  • After noticing the drone swarm, Ao Lingsi sped toward it to destroy the drones before they could carry out their mission.

Ch. 447Forbidden Spell: Day Had Broken!

The Pope unleashed the Forbidden Spell Holy Light Illumination, devastating the Demon Clan army and healing the Allied Army. As Ao Lingsi lunged for the Pope, the Pope moved toward him instead, leaving their confrontation unresolved.

  • Queen Ellari, Muradin, and Warwick kept Ao Lingsi occupied while the Pope received the antimatter bomb and hid it in his Spatial Ring.
  • Long Zhan instructed the leaders to create an opening for the Pope, and the Pope spent his remaining magic power casting Holy Light Illumination.
  • The Forbidden Spell burned through the Demon Clan army and restored the Allied Army, while Kael and Reynolds realized the Pope was risking his life.
  • The holy light reached the Great Xia fleet, giving Liu Yishou and the naval soldiers a chance to recover and resume firing.
  • Ao Lingsi abandoned his restraint and charged at the Pope, but the Pope advanced rather than retreating.

Ch. 448The Terrifying Power of Antimatter Weapons

Pope Gregory VII sacrificed himself to unleash an antimatter weapon against Demon God Ao Lingsi. The blast erased much of Ao Lingsi and sent Warwick, Muradin, and Ellari fleeing through a devastating wave of energy.

  • Pope Gregory VII charged at Ao Lingsi despite his injuries, and Ao Lingsi decided to kill him rather than retreat.
  • The Pope revealed a Silver Orb and pressed its red button just before Ao Lingsi could escape.
  • Three hundred grams of antimatter annihilated the Pope and erased Ao Lingsi's shield, armor, and much of his body.
  • The antimatter explosion released energy equivalent to 12.9 million tons of TNT, creating a blinding blast and a sweeping shock wave above the Terra Continent.
  • Warwick, Muradin, and Ellari fled, but the gamma-ray burst caught them, making Warwick bleed and wonder if this was Great Xia's science.

Ch. 449The Demon God and the Pope, Dead?

The Pope destroyed the Demon God Ao Lingsi with an antimatter attack, but the blast also swept away the Pope and the three leaders of Terra. As the Holy Human Race mourned the Pope’s apparent death, Kael urged the survivors to use their chance to defeat the remaining Demon Clan troops.

  • The blast’s shock wave hurled Queen Ellari, Muradin, and the third leader away, then devastated the battlefield and injured Allied Army soldiers and Demon Clan troops alike.
  • The survivors found that Ao Lingsi and his oppressive domain had vanished, and feared that the Demon God was dead.
  • Kael found that the Pope’s mental imprint had disappeared from his pendant and concluded that the Pope had returned to the Divine Kingdom.
  • Holy Human Race warriors mourned the Pope, while the dwarves and elves also grieved his sacrifice.
  • Kael stopped the mourning and called on the survivors to attack the remaining Demon Clan troops, the Pope’s killers.

Ch. 450The Demon Clan's sky had fallen

After the Demon God was killed, the Demon Clan army lost its will to fight and collapsed into a rout while Terra’s Allied Army surged forward. The surviving seventh-order demons tried to flee, but Terra’s fighters counterattacked and cornered them before three streaks of light arrived.

  • The Allied Army charged the disorganized Demon Clan forces, and the demons’ panic caused stampedes and a widespread retreat.
  • Ryze and Reynolds emerged from the explosion’s shock wave, realized the Pope was dead, and turned their grief into resolve to fight.
  • Pyke confirmed the Demon God’s death and fled with Yaxes and the other seventh-order demons as Reynolds and the allied experts pursued them.
  • Ryze, Reynolds, and fourteen other seventh-order fighters attacked the eight demons, forcing them back and wounding Yaxes.
  • Three streaks of light tore across the sky and crashed into the battlefield.

Ch. 451The Great Counteroffensive!

After the Demon God Ao Lingsi was confirmed dead, Great Xia and Terra’s leaders launched a counteroffensive against the fleeing Demon Clan. The chapter ended as Great Xia’s troops charged from their defensive line.

  • Muradin, Warwick, and Ellari returned to battle, killing Pyke and driving the remaining Seventh-Order Demon Venerables into flight.
  • In the Command Center, Long Zhan’s team examined drone footage showing antimatter destroying Ao Lingsi, and Terra’s fighters confirmed that the Demon God’s aura had vanished.
  • Long Zhan ordered five strategic nuclear missiles fired at the Demon Clan’s rear and commanded a counterattack across the front.
  • Great Xia soldiers received the order to attack, and a bugle call sounded as troops surged out of their trenches.

Ch. 452Encircling and killing the Seventh Order Demon Venerables

Great Xia and Terra’s forces routed the Demon Clan Army with a massive assault, then turned their attention to trapping the fleeing Seventh Order Demon Venerables. Long Zhan ordered the remaining nuclear bombs prepared for launch as Beast King Warwick pursued a fleeing demon.

  • Great Xia and Terra’s armies advanced against the routed demons with artillery, aircraft, tanks, magic, and infantry.
  • Five nuclear bombs struck the densest fleeing demon forces, devastating them; Terra’s holy magic then purified the nuclear contamination.
  • Long Zhan ordered Terra’s fighters to tighten the encirclement of the Seventh Order Demon Venerables and instructed Great Xia to prepare all four remaining nuclear bombs for launch.
  • A bone-spurred Seventh Order Demon Venerable fled after Beast King Warwick struck it, and Warwick chased it with two other fighters.
  • Great Xia’s Command Center sent Warwick a notification as the pursuit continued.

Ch. 453Gathering after the battle

Great Xia and Terra’s forces defeated the Demon Clan, though Yaxes escaped by sacrificing its troops to delay the pursuers. Lin Mo returned to Great Xia’s Fief as the armies began clearing the battlefield and gathered with the surviving leaders to assess their losses.

  • Warwick halted the pursuit, while Great Xia’s Nuclear Bombs killed three Seventh Order Demon Venerables attempting to flee; Terra’s forces killed four more, but Yaxes escaped through an Earth Dragon tunnel by ordering its troops to block the pursuers.
  • Lin Mo crossed the Holy Human Race’s Portal after Long Zhan reported that the battle was settled and saw the devastation across Great Xia’s Fief.
  • At the Command Center, Long Zhan ordered the armies to sweep the battlefield, finish off surviving enemies, remove hazards, recover supplies and bodies, and treat the wounded.
  • Great Xia soldiers and Terra’s allies searched the battlefield, treated the wounded, and recovered their dead as the surviving armies gathered on the central plain.
  • Lin Mo, Long Zhan, Ellari, Muradin, Warwick, and the Dragon leaders assembled on a blast-flattened hill, where twenty Seventh Order fighters had become eighteen.

Ch. 454Battle Loss Statistics for the Various Races

Zhao Gang reported the Allied Army’s devastating losses, while Long Zhan explained why Great Xia suffered fewer deaths despite bearing a heavy frontline burden. The Allies learned Great Xia had spent nearly all its ammunition and suffered extensive equipment damage to win the battle.

  • Zhao Gang reported hundreds of thousands of Allied casualties, including the deaths of the Holy Human Race’s Pope and a Seventh-Tier Half-Orc combatant, and estimated that one-fifth of the army would die.
  • Muradin demanded that the wounded be healed, but the Elf Queen and Ryze said their healing supplies were limited and some injuries could not be cured.
  • Long Zhan saluted the Terra Leaders and praised the Dwarf Clan and Half-Orc Clan for their courage, while acknowledging the other races’ contributions.
  • Zhao Gang reported that Great Xia had lost five thousand of its one hundred thousand troops, prompting the Terra Leaders to question the figures.
  • Long Zhan explained that most Great Xia troops supported the front from the rear, while its frontline death rate reached one-eighth and its ammunition, Energy Blocks, and much of its equipment were exhausted.

Ch. 455Dividing the spoils

After the Allied Army celebrated its victory over the Demon Clan, leaders gathered to negotiate how to divide nearly ten million Demon Clan corpses. Their meeting ended in deadlock as each race argued for a different way to calculate its share.

  • Muradin conceded that Great Xia’s weapons had surpassed Dwarven craftsmanship and said the Dwarves hoped to study physics in Great Xia.
  • Long Zhan announced that the Demon God was dead and the Demon Clan’s main force had been routed, and the Allied Army celebrated its victory.
  • Ryze led a memorial for the fallen, and the army rested after completing its casualty tally.
  • Lin Mo arranged an outdoor meeting place so the Dragons King could join Great Xia and the leaders of the five races to discuss dividing the spoils.
  • Ryze proposed dividing the spoils by troop numbers and seventh-order experts, but the Dragons King, Lin Mo, Muradin, Ellari, Warwick, and Zhao Gang challenged the plan and offered conflicting alternatives.
  • The leaders failed to agree on a method for dividing the Demon Clan corpses, leaving the negotiations at a deadlock.

Ch. 456Holy Son, are you sure?

Lin Mo ended the dispute over the spoils by proposing an equal division among six parties, with extra compensation for races that suffered heavy losses. The leaders agreed to collect Demon Clan corpses outside Great Xia’s fief, leaving Great Xia to gather those near its territory and later buy the valuable materials.

  • Lin Mo discussed a proposal with Zhao Gang and decided Great Xia would accept a smaller share to preserve relations with the other races.
  • Lin Mo proposed dividing the spoils into six equal shares and compensating nations whose casualty rates were high or whose powerful fighters had fallen.
  • Ryze thanked Lin Mo for recognizing the loss of the Pope and warned that Great Xia had killed the most enemies and spent the most resources.
  • Lin Mo asked the other races to collect Demon Clan corpses outside Great Xia’s fief, especially the million-plus bodies in the sea.
  • Warwick assigned the merfolk to salvage the sea, Ellari agreed to help, Muradin took the underground corpses, and the Dragons King offered to transport larger bodies.

Ch. 457A celebration for all races

After the battle, Great Xia and Terra’s allied races cleared the vast fields of Demon Clan corpses, hoping to trade them for Great Xia weapons and equipment. The recovery effort continued across land and sea as the allies coordinated to haul away the spoils.

  • Wang Qiang operated his Exoskeleton while robotic dogs and recovery vehicles collected Demon Clan corpses outside Great Xia's Fief.
  • Thorin and the Dwarves dug through a vitrified crater to recover a Giant Burrowing Dragon, eager to trade its corpse for Great Xia weapons.
  • The Dragons King urged thousands of Dragons to haul Siege Behemoth remains so the Dragons Clan could order Great Xia's Custom Weapons.
  • Elder Muyu directed the Elves to collect intact corpses and quickly exchange them for money and advance orders.
  • Tens of thousands of Merfolk salvaged Demon Clan corpses underwater, while Water Elves helped lift a massive Sea Dragon Beast to the surface.
  • Grom the Centaur and the allied races hurried to move the corpses ashore, eager to trade the spoils for Great Xia equipment.

Ch. 458More new demons?

As the Demon Clan continued pouring through its Space Wormhole, Long Zhan ordered a hypersonic nuclear missile launched because Great Xia lacked enough Antimatter Bombs to close the threat. Lin Mo and the other leaders hurried to the Command Center to find out what was happening, where they gathered around the screen.

  • Zhao Gang ordered damaged equipment repaired, intending to sell the refurbished vehicles and weapons to the natives for Demon Clan Corpses.
  • Long Zhan watched the Demon Clan's Space Wormhole and learned from Qian Zhenhua that producing another Antimatter Bomb would take at least a month.
  • After new Nuclear Bombs arrived, Long Zhan ordered a hypersonic nuclear missile launched at the wormhole.
  • Lin Mo, Muradin, Ellari, and Ryze saw the missile streak into the sky and rushed to the Command Center.
  • Long Zhan directed Lin Mo and the others to the big screen, while Muradin climbed onto a chair so he could see.

Ch. 459Heading to the Demon Clan's wormhole

Long Zhan’s nuclear missile failed to destroy the Demon Clan’s wormhole, so Ryze proposed collapsing it with portal magic. Long Zhan assembled a team of Seventh-Order fighters to protect Ryze, and they departed for the wormhole aboard a Great Xia transport plane.

  • Long Zhan launched a nuclear missile at the wormhole, but it remained intact and demons continued to emerge.
  • Ryze explained that he could analyze the wormhole’s spatial nodes and collapse it from within if he had time and protection.
  • Long Zhan assigned Muradin, Ellari, and five other Seventh-Order fighters to escort Ryze, while leaving the weakened Warwick behind.
  • Ryze and the fighters boarded a Great Xia transport plane protected by ten fighter jets and took off for the wormhole.

Ch. 460The Space-Jumping Beast's Report

Lin Mo kept watch at the Command Center while Long Zhan went to rest, as Yaxes escaped the destruction of the Demon Clan’s army and reached an underground cavern. There, he told a Space-Jumping Beast that the Demon God and the other Demon Venerables had died, leaving both of them facing an uncertain fate.

  • Lin Mo ordered the exhausted Long Zhan to sleep in the lounge while he watched the transport aircraft’s progress.
  • Yaxes emerged from underground after surviving the attack that annihilated the Demon Clan’s forces on Terra.
  • Yaxes reached a cavern where a Space Wormhole was sending out Lesser Demons and brooded over his lack of a safe escape.
  • Yaxes nearly struck a Space-Jumping Beast with his greatsword before recognizing it as a rare creature reserved for an Eighth-Order Demon God.
  • Yaxes told the Space-Jumping Beast that the Demon Clan had suffered a crushing defeat and that the Demon God and seven Demon Venerables had died.
  • The Space-Jumping Beast explained that it had been away collecting Great Xia’s home-planet coordinates and had not known about the battle.
