King's Anchor.
The name sounded a little over-the-top, but it captured the superpower's strength perfectly.
Li Xin lifted his chin, his face brimming with pride.
"Well? Great name I picked, right? Qi's superpower is so damn awesome, only King's Anchor could describe it. The Research Institute actually adopted it!"

For a moment, they all fell silent, their expressions complicated.
Long Tianyu abruptly jumped down from the table. The movement tugged at his wound, making him grimace, but he no longer cared.
His eyes widened, and his voice rose. "Damn, King's Anchor? That name is way too edgy!"
Wu Buyu walked over to Long Tianyu.
He quietly added, "He thinks the name sounds too badass. He's jealous."
Long Tianyu couldn't be bothered with him and continued, "Sheng An, that name won't do. It's so over-the-top it'll ruin Group B's image. Change it."
Wu Buyu translated, "He says he didn't get a name that impressive, so Captain Qi shouldn't get one either. It has to go."
"What was the Research Institute thinking?" Long Tianyu demanded. "They actually used a name some teenager dreamed up? They might as well just call it 'Anchor.'"
Wu Buyu translated, "He thinks King's Anchor sounds too badass. Anchor is pretty good too, so he strongly recommends changing it to Anchor."
Sheng An listened calmly.
Only after both men finished did she turn the folder in her hands and cast Wu Buyu a sidelong glance. "Were those really Long Tianyu's thoughts, or things you wanted to say?"
Caught out, Wu Buyu gave an awkward smile. "...Both."
Hao Jingye rolled his eyes.
So he had been using the excuse of translating Long Tianyu's thoughts to voice his own opinions.
