Several humans gathered from the fighter jets. Like the person who had given it the video, like Blue Sea, they were clean and tidy, unlike those bizarre things.
So it did not fight back. Even as scarlet artillery fire filled the sky, even as attack after attack blasted its limbs apart, it simply carried on with its work.
Gradually, it discovered that no matter how it used its own power, it could not sweep away the things inside. Those dead things kept reviving under its power.
So, in anger, it swept up the artillery fire and hurled it at the ground, only to discover that the bombardment killed and injured quite a few of those monsters. They also lost all their power, along with their ability to revive.
It clapped happily, put away its cleaning tools of its own accord, and shrank down, letting the artillery fire and the humans' attacks blast this land apart.
Whenever those people were about to stop, it revealed its body and assumed a posture as if preparing to attack, luring them into opening fire.
This continued for a long time. It had thought that doing this would be enough to clean the place, but discovered that it was only temporary. Those things would draw power from this land, then revive again.
Worse still, those things actually wanted to run away, to escape this place.
Little Boy secretly approached one of the humans. "Hey, hey, could you fence that place off, then find people to clean it regularly? I can't sweep it clean."
That person acted as though facing a formidable enemy and sent him away with caution and solemnity. Some time later, who knew how many more people arrived, seemingly surveying this land.
