Su Jin arrived in Fu Qingdai’s world and prepared to protect her from the rain-driven apocalypse while hiding his identity and testing the infection. After the rain and the Cold-Sky Missile strike devastated the city, Fu Qingdai reached Su Jin, who promised to stay with her.

• Su Jin accepted a mysterious job, arrived in the dying world as Li Haocheng, and met Fu Qingdai, whose dreams had warned her of the apocalypse.
• Su Jin gained Fu Qingdai’s trust, arranged to live near her, stockpiled supplies, and persuaded her family that he could help her.
• Su Jin practiced slaughtering pigs, recruited Fu Hu to buy bows and solar equipment, and prepared the apartments for the coming disaster.

Su Jin organized survivors, investigated the infection, and helped Fu Hu and Cheng Du awaken new abilities while preparing to seek research supplies and medicine. The arc left Su Jin, Fu Hu, and Cheng Du driving through a zombie horde toward Dragon Mountain Middle School after finding that even a child could conceal a disguised infected.

• Su Jin revealed his identity and Fu Qingdai’s prophetic role to Fu Hu, then organized the household and recruited Sun Ya and Wei De to help build a survivor team.
• Su Jin cleared zombies and investigated the infection with Sun Ya and Wei De, discovering evolving zombies, a zombie crystal, and a glowing sphere that gave him extraordinary abilities and immunity.
• Su Jin rescued Cheng Du and confronted Cao Chengping and Li Kai after Li Fang’s death, then concluded that infection could hide inside living people and urged his allies to find a way to identify them.
• Sun Ya and Wei De proposed screening residents with rats and sodium fluorescein, so Su Jin planned a dangerous trip to Dragon Mountain Medical University while preparing the residential complex and training its survivors.
• Su Jin used a Flesh Ball to awaken Cheng Du’s fire powers and another to awaken Fu Hu’s strength, then departed with them to seek medicine and supplies.
• At Dragon Star Pharmacy, Tan Hui and Yue Hao were killed by a child disguised as an ordinary child, and Su Jin shot it after finding blood and sharp teeth in its mouth.
• Su Jin, Fu Hu, and Cheng Du drove toward Dragon Mountain Middle School, where they encountered more than a hundred zombies and a fast zombie that struck their car.
