Young Master Bao felt no displeasure at Ren Ye's overly familiar, mercenary response. Instead, he was a little surprised and excited. He actually liked people loving his money best, because that was more convenient and less troublesome than talking about feelings.
He toyed with a folding fan and smiled. "Little Sister Immortal Crane thinks you're special, and I feel the same. That's why I came over to ask your opinion."
"What's so special about me?" Ren Ye asked, feigning curiosity.
Although the Female Prophet had transformed into a plump, fair-skinned girl, she gave no impression of being slow or clumsy. She stood straight, her eyes lively and her little hands clasped behind her back. Somehow, she exuded an air of composure, experience, quick thinking, insight into others, and tremendous confidence.
The Little Bad King studied her carefully and thought for a moment before coming up with a description that suited the Female Prophet perfectly.
A female politician!
Exactly. Descriptions like clever woman, female strategist, or powerful career woman all seemed somewhat inaccurate when applied to the Female Prophet. Every movement she made truly felt like that of a seasoned politician who had spent years in high office, witnessed endless court infighting and intrigue, yet could calmly protect herself and handle whatever came.
Still, there was some distance between this seasoned politician and someone with the makings of a chief minister. To Ren Ye, she felt like a female politician still developing. If he had to find a more precise description, she was rather like a female mayor on Blue Star.
High enough, but not high enough; experienced enough, but not yet capable of shouldering the Two Capitals and Thirteen Provinces.
Of course, Ren Ye had not formed this impression at a single glance. It mainly came from her earlier actions.
