Hearing the man's challenge, Tan Pang stepped up and slapped him hard, sending his head shaking like a rattle drum. "You're a grown man. How come you can't make any judgments of your own?"
"Think carefully. Is everything your boss says necessarily right? Couldn't he be the one who betrayed us?!"
Captain Tan's gaze and expression were so confident, so composed, that for one instant, the handsome bald man, his head buzzing from the blow, actually doubted his own boss.

In that brief instant of distraction, three masses of distorted, dim light appeared inside the vehicle, hovering in front of the driver's seat, the front passenger seat, and the left rear seat.

An antique mirror appeared before Tan Pang. Clutching three short daggers in his right hand, he flung them out.

The three daggers passed through the mirror and shot out of the distorted, dim light. Handsome Baldy and the others had no chance to react before their throats were pierced, pinning them dead against their seats.
Blood flowed freely, staining the seat backs and the fronts of the three corpses. A thick smell of blood spread through the vehicle.
"Fuck, barging into a mission location really does bring 'retaliation' from the Heavenly Dao."
Although he had killed all three men in the vehicle instantly, Tan Pang was clearly panicking. Sweat poured from his forehead as he glanced at the driver's seat. After a brief consideration, he abandoned the idea of driving away.
He had killed them not to steal the vehicle, but to stop Handsome Baldy and the others from using their communication equipment to report him.
