The faint whispers faded by his ears. A powerful sensation of weightlessness struck, and Ren Ye felt his back hit something soft, jolting him awake.
The cold slowly receded. He opened his eyes groggily and found himself lying on a bed with pale pink sheets, catching a long-unfamiliar scent of a woman's body.
"Huh?!"
Ren Ye sat bolt upright and looked around.
He found himself in a warmly decorated bedroom. A crystal chandelier shone overhead, illuminating the wardrobe, dressing table, and assorted bottles and jars used by beautiful women.
At the foot of the bed, two jackets and a pair of women's fitted lounging tights hung over a chair. An enormous wedding photo hung on the wall directly opposite the bed.
Ren Ye looked at the wedding photo and froze.
In the photo, a beautiful woman in her twenties wore a wedding dress, her face filled with a happy smile. Beside her, Prince Huai had his hair combed into a grown-up style and wore a well-fitted suit. He stood ramrod straight as the woman held his arm, grinning like a lovestruck creep.
"Holy shit, I... I'm married?! Why didn't anyone tell me about this? I wasn't even there myself..."
As bewildered as Ren Ye was, fear also rose within him, because his face in the photo was real-it was his appearance in reality.
In other words, before he had even come in, the Heavenly Dao had already prepared a wedding photo and a wife for him...
