Inside the burial chamber.
By the faint firelight, Li Yan carefully examined the bottom-right corner of the letter paper, where he saw the words "Sanhe Stationery."
"How strange." Li Yan shook his head, his gaze puzzled.
"What do you mean?" Ren Ye was getting impatient. "Are you making me solve riddles here? Can you just get straight to the point?!"
Li Yan raised the letter and said softly, "This sheet of paper really is mine. After I reached an agreement with Mr. He's people that day, I used it to print out the information. Look, it still has the Sanhe Stationery logo and the marks I made with my pen. But the strange thing is, what I originally printed... wasn't this at all."
"It wasn't this?" Ren Ye was bewildered.

What was originally printed here said that the mole Old Prince Huai had planted in the Court Faction carried a copy of the Thatched Hall Chronicle as a token," Li Yan explained quietly. "But now it says Old Prince Huai received a secret edict from Emperor Wu and secretly investigated the Princess Tomb... That's completely different from the story I made up. It's the same sheet of paper, but the contents have changed."
Ren Ye thought for a long time, once again feeling how terrifying Li Yan was. "So Number Four, who died, took out the Thatched Hall Chronicle at the Inn because you planned it? And we only won because two Bell Society members were misled by that false information and voted for Number Four?!"
"Right." Li Yan looked calm, without any sign of pride. "First, I created false information to confuse the opposition, then looked for an opportunity to give away the Thatched Hall Chronicle.
