• Zheng Chengdong drank the Eighth Team’s stolen Awakening Potion and used his newly awakened mechanical armament to block Belin’s attack.
• Zheng Chengdong used a Sleeping Curse potion to weaken Belin and demanded answers about the Eternal Church, the Dawn Blade’s betrayal, and his family’s murder.

Xu Ye confronted Zheng Chengdong after he transformed into an Aberrant and forced Belin to confess to crimes tied to Zheng’s wife and the Ninth Squad’s destruction. Xu Ye tried to sever the causal chain by killing Belin, leaving everyone horrified.

• Zheng Chengdong transformed into an Aberrant, seized Belin, and threatened those in the Grand Bell Tower.
• Belin confessed that she had killed Zheng’s wife, removed her unborn child for experiments, and helped leak information about the Dawn Blade Ninth Squad.
• Xu Ye realized Zheng’s aberration had to be stopped by severing its causal chain, while the nobles’ involvement threatened to ignite conflict in Sky City.

Xu Ye refused Yun Changeng’s offer of safe passage and charged Lu E again, ending the chapter with Gods' Soul Light shining in his eyes.

• Xu Ye and Wang Han attacked Lu E together, but she pinned Wang Han to a wall and drove Xu Ye back with her flaming whip.

• Xu Ye prepared his equipment and traveled to Lu Mingwang’s Azure Sea Villa using the invitation Aldrich had given him.
• Xu Ye sneaked into Villa No. 1 and hid behind the curtains to observe what happened inside.
• Xu Ye overheard Han Li boast about past lovers, including Zhang Jian and Zhang Ping, and recognized them as the Sewage Treatment Plant owner and Sun Xiufei’s husband.
• Someone screamed, “It snapped!!!” from the bedroom.

Xu Ye witnessed Han Li mutate into a snake-like Aberrant during a gathering at her villa and warned the guests that her pollution was making her former partners pregnant. The hall descended into panic as multiple people’s bellies began swelling, including those of Anderson’s companions and a waiter.

He Li and Meng Chengfei then revealed their reasons for confronting Cheng Tianming, including the claim that Duke Han Xi had betrayed the Ninth Team ten years earlier.

• Han Li's face appeared on Human-Headed Serpent Aberrants that burst from the pregnant men's bodies and attacked the villa, while Han Xi led people to escape.
• Xu Ye helped Sun Xiufei as the crisis spread and worried that Cheng Tianming and Sky City could not withstand the attackers.
• The Ace of Hearts Bishop dodged a crystal ice flower and sensed someone approaching through a twisted passage.
• Yang Chang emerged carrying the Long Spear, and Xu Ye realized that Yang Chang and Cheng Tianming had secretly arranged for him to confront a Sequence 6 enemy.

Yang Chang overcame the Bishop's illusions, while Xu Ye and Sun Xiufei came under attack from Wu Meng. Xu Ye confronted Wu Meng, who revealed a terrifying ability that made the flesh around them speak.

• Cheng Tianming condemned the Eternal Church as the Bishop used illusions to fight Yang Chang, who broke through them with his Dream Life talent.
• The Bishop fled to target Gu Muhan, and Cheng Tianming warned that Gu had not yet reached sequence 6.

Xu Ye survived the Lord of Darkfall’s Profanity with the Bandit Lord’s help, then killed Wu Meng after Anderson intervened. He left Anderson to protect Sun Xiufei and headed toward the captain’s fight, carrying a Taboo Object Radio that may have recorded the deity’s words.

• Wu Meng used the Lord of Darkfall’s Profanity against Xu Ye, but the Bandit Lord countered it by hurling curses back through Xu Ye’s heart.
• Anderson blocked Wu Meng’s throwing knife, and Xu Ye ordered him to hide Sun Xiufei and keep her safe.
• Wu Meng blasted the villa with flesh explosives, but Xu Ye exploited his misjudgment and shot his head apart.

Ji Ying tried to escape after discovering Gu Muhan’s Sequence 6 strength, but Yang Chang wounded him and Xu Ye ambushed him near the Dark Skyship’s teleportation zone. Xu Ye used [Ugliness] and [Gaze] to stun Ji Ying before striking his wound with Momentary Splendor.

• Ji Ying found Gu Muhan beneath a tree and attacked him with ghostfire, but Gu Muhan countered with Thunder Serpent, Gale Whip, and Earth Spike.
• Ji Ying realized Gu Muhan had trapped him inside Sequence 6-039 [World in the Painting] and used Sequence 7-020 [Embroidered Shoes] to return to reality.
• Yang Chang froze Ji Ying with an ice attack, forcing him to tear away part of his abdomen and flee toward the Dark Skyship’s teleportation zone.
• Xu Ye used Spiritual Qi threads to make Wang Han catch Ji Ying in an embrace, then revealed his face and used [Gaze] to disrupt Ji Ying’s spirit transformation.
