Gui Ling checked the stats of a random piece of equipment:
--
[Sturdy Black Bow (Jadeite Tier): Archer weapon. Physical attack +760, agility +66, defense +369. Required level: 18.] [Unique effect: This bow cannot fire arrows, but deals 17% more damage in melee.]
--
An Archer weapon that couldn't fire arrows?
What the hell was the point of that?
Perhaps some bizarre skills or equipment combinations later on could bring out this weapon's power, but for now, hardly anyone could use it.
"Other melee classes could use this weapon to bash people, sure."
"But not only would just 70% of its stats take effect, they also couldn't use any of their class skills with the wrong weapon type..."
"That means they could only make basic attacks with this bow, and wouldn't even be able to trigger most passive attack effects..."
The equipment left Gui Ling dumbfounded.
Then there was this:
--
[Withered Gloves (Jadeite Tier): Mage armor. Spirit +45, maximum mana +95%, Elemental Attack +72. Required level: 19.] [Unique effect: Elemental skill power increases by 13%, but 47% of maximum mana drains every second.]
--
The good news was that this equipment provided a separate 13% Damage Increase multiplier.
The bad news was that once someone put it on, their mana would run dry in two seconds!
One could imagine having to drink a mana recovery potion before every skill cast in battle, when potions had cooldowns too...
What was more, unlike weapons...
Other classes couldn't wear this armor.
Otherwise, Assassins, Warriors, and Swordsmen who used elemental abilities could actually have made use of these gloves, since those classes weren't restricted by mana.
Gui Ling really had to hand it to Qin Feng for the equipment he had brought out.
How would the Cloud Mountain
