"Oh, right, Tie Zhu, don't come along. Study that light orb properly and see if anything's wrong with your body."
Jiang Chen turned his head and added.
Not long ago, Tie Zhu had been the last to emerge from the Dragon Palace, covered in blood. Only afterward did the little fellow explain why: it had gone looking for the Great Tie Zhu again. This time, it hadn't been in its original spot, but Tie Zhu had still managed to find it.
Then it had tried the same trick again, attempting to swallow it and take it away. Unsurprisingly, it had failed, and some unknown force had actually shaken its powerful True Dragon body so badly that it had nearly been pulverized.
But it hadn't come away empty-handed. By sucking hard, it had actually drawn a Dark Gold Light Orb out of the Great Tie Zhu. As if alive, the orb had taken up residence in its belly and refused to leave no matter what.
"Okay, Dad! Today I'm definitely digging this weird thing out! The bastard must be after my plump, delicious innards. Greedy pig!"
Tie Zhu shouted fiercely in its babyish voice, even pulling out a pig-butchering knife and moving it back and forth over its belly, seemingly steeling itself.
Beyond the East Sea, the stars and moon gradually faded. Dawn had yet to arrive, and the surroundings were pitch-black, even the crashing waves seeming to sob.
First, a speck of fire appeared on the horizon. Then it grew larger and larger, warping space as it plunged down like a meteor.
Boom-!
The sea churned and boiled. The splashing seawater evaporated outright, and the air radiated terrifying heat, as though it were about to catch fire.
"Heh heh heh!"
Ba's wild laughter scared a group of Unusual People
