When I reached the entrance, I stopped and glanced into the Security Office.
The security guard had his head down, holding his phone. He might have been playing a game.
I walked over, but before I could call out to him, he must have caught sight of someone approaching. He immediately put his phone down and pretended to be watching the surveillance feed on the computer screen.
"All finished, boss?"
"All finished."
I nodded and glanced at the computer screen a couple of times too.
The company probably had a dedicated surveillance room.
The feeds in the Security Office only showed the elevators and the corridors on each floor.
I asked him, "Did you see anyone suspicious go upstairs just now?"
The guard shook his head firmly. "No, I've been watching the feeds the whole time. I haven't seen anyone suspicious. Besides, I've got the lights on in here. No thief would dare come in, haha."
I turned and left the company to meet up with Yi Yang and An Ning.
Once we met up, I asked Yi Yang how things had gone and whether he had seen the Snake Spirit come running down.
