Five minutes later.
Ye Lin flew low over the wasteland, like a silent ghost.
The other three followed close behind. As long as he did not unleash his full speed, they could keep up.
It was not that he did not want to carry the others. Maintaining a continuous output required extremely precise control of his psychokinesis.
Unless he split his attention by force and treated them like cannonballs, he could not carry people along.
As he flew toward the city, Ye Lin rapidly constructed a three-dimensional map in his mind, blue light flickering constantly in his eyes. Within his mental space, a map marked with eight pillars of light slowly rotated.
At four people per team, there were roughly thirty-two people within three hundred kilometers of them.
If any teams had lost members, that number would be lower.
"Ye Lin, aren't we going after those teams?"
"Why are we heading to the city?"
"That demon team will be here any minute. Shouldn't we get enough points and hide? Even if we don't hide, we should be finding people to kill."
He Zheng bounded forward in bursts like a muscular rabbit, repeatedly kicking off the ground to propel himself along.
He had worked out this move in the simulation space. It looked ugly, but it was remarkably effective.
He looked around in confusion. Although the pillars of light had disappeared after about three minutes, at their speed, they should be able to catch quite a few people.
They only needed to wipe out two teams to earn enough points to return, then find somewhere to hide. Even if the pillars exposed their position, they would still have time to move.
"That won't work. Don't forget how they got in."
When Ye Lin finished, He Zheng blinked blankly, clearly not understanding.
