The four looked over in confusion. Ye Lin frowned slightly and motioned for Aroro to explain.
He could understand why Aroro knew so little.
Judging by the timeline Aroro had described, they had gone into hiding as soon as they arrived.
Hera had entered twenty hours later. During that time, all the teams had been slaughtering one another, and Aroro and his companions hadn't dared show themselves.
"Did you hear another team say there was something wrong with the city, or did you see something?"
An Ke asked in confusion. A moment later, Aroro hesitated briefly before giving an uncertain nod.
"My lady, I suppose you could say we saw something."
"We didn't go inside, but because Miss Hera looked after me, no one targeted us. That meant we could stay outside and openly watch the people who went in."
"The teams that went in with Miss Hera all reacted strangely. Quite a few people came straight back out early, as though they were afraid of something."

Hera had stayed the longest, but something had happened to her after she returned. Another chaotic battle had broken out afterward, so he had no idea what those people had seen.
