An immense burst of light and heat instantly engulfed the Demihuman.
His eyeballs melted, and his flesh evaporated.
Before he could even scream, the Demihuman vanished into the blinding white light, as though an invisible hand had erased him.
As the Demihuman died, the energy inside him instantly spiraled out of control. Torrents of energy erupted violently from his body, piercing the Starship below as though they could punch through heaven and earth. Even the clouds a thousand meters overhead were blasted open by the high-energy jets, leaving a vast hole a hundred meters across.
The lasers collided, and for an instant, the entire world seemed to fall silent.
The explosion sounded a moment later. A miniature sun rose slowly, illuminating the entire sky.
"BOOM!!"
The resulting shock wave swept through everything at supersonic speed like a tsunami. In moments, every pane of glass inside the Starship shattered. Even He Zheng and Huang Liang, who were farthest from the blast, were hurled hard into the wall behind them.
They had never imagined the Demihuman's death could cause such terrifying destruction. The immense electrical energy surrounding him also went out of control, exploding in every direction like a thunderstorm.

Like a volcanic eruption, blobs of plasma rained from the sky and exploded on impact, forming scorching fireballs. As the engines on the lowest level melted through, the entire Starship began tilting uncontrollably to the right.
It was like a chain reaction. Amid shrill alarms, one engine explosion after another sounded from the Starship's lowest level. Thrown clear by the shock wave, He Zheng felt as though the whole world were collapsing. With agonized metallic groans, the entire Starship slowly broke apart down the middle!
"FUCK!!"
Seeing a building collapse toward him, He Zheng scrambled up and
